I've known Lauren and her sister Cailin for a long time, almost 20 years- yikes! I've always been in awe of their style. To say these girls are fashion forward is an understatement. While I was barely surviving the awkward middle school years, Cailin and Lauren effortlessly rocked butterfly clips and could make our school uniform kilt look cool.
When Lauren first contacted me about designing a few things for Cailin's upcoming bridal shower I was flattered and a bit nervous. The pressure was on to impress!
Thankfully the simplistic color palette gave room for an abundance creativity. I was able to pull in different textures and styles to create some unique elements perfect for a modern bride with an eye for design herself.
The attention was in the details and definitely a team effort. With help from Cailin's mom, guests took home favor boxes filled with homemade Italian cookies tied with satin ribbon, adorned with a personalized monogram and the couple's favorite song lyrics.
